Gabriel Joseph Zettler, age 27, of Walkerton, Ontario, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre following a tragic motor vehicle accident. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the entire community who knew and loved him.

Gabriel was a devoted son to Richard and Joan (née Diemert) Zettler and a deeply cherished brother among a large and loving family. He shared a special bond with each of his siblings and was a beloved uncle to his 28 nieces and nephews, who brought him immense joy. Whether playing games, building with blocks, or sharing laughter, Gabriel had a natural connection with children, meeting them with warmth and delight. To them, he was more than an uncle—he was a friend and a source of happiness.

Known for his gentle spirit and welcoming nature, Gabriel carried a quiet strength that endeared him to all who met him. His smile and friendliness were constant, and he had a way of bringing light into any room. He was accepting, kind-hearted, and always willing to lend a helping hand, offering his best effort in all he did. His family fondly remembers his fairness, steadiness, and unwavering loyalty—qualities that defined his character.

Gabriel had a deep passion for farming and a special love for tractors, reflected in his cherished die-cast collection. This interest was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his appreciation for hard work, simplicity, and the life he loved. He found joy in the everyday and took comfort in the values he held close.

A man of faith, Gabriel lived with a sense of purpose and devotion, guided by his belief and hope in eternal life. His faith was not only something he believed in but something he quietly lived out each day, inspiring those around him.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, his siblings and their families, his grandparents Edna Zettler and Roy and Agnes Diemert, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his infant brother Abraham and his grandfather Leonard Zettler Sr.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, with visitation taking place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Cameron Funeral Home in Walkerton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Church in Formosa, followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Walkerton.

Gabriel will be profoundly missed and forever loved. May he rest in eternal peace.
